Tarpon Inn

Came for a business trip and stayed here and the newly renovated rooms were fantastic and the workers at the front desk were really nice and helpful.

Very basic motel, but great for price. Pool was really nice feature. Loved swimming after dark. Simple rooms with a dated look but it fit all our needs while there. Cleaners were so nice! Saw them regularly and anytime we asked for something they accommodated.

It was a very good stay they are still cleaning up so stuff piled up but getting cleaned up as I was leaving and the pool is not open yet rooms are very clean and the cleaning lady was very accommodating to our needs

Its location is on the bayou which has a very nice park, boat ramp, church, tennis courts, racquet ball. The rooms need updated furniture. Big bathroom which is nice. A/c took some messing around with to get it on. Maintenance keeps it clean. Has a pool and is pretty quiet. No

It's a low key duck off motel that is older but family run. They were very friendly and accommodating. The motel was older but our room had an upgraded bathroom. It was very clean and larger than a normal hotel or motel room and had a refrigerator and microwave. The only negative things are there were no lamps anywhere in the room and 1 wall light way above the bed and only 1 outlet by the door worked out of the 3 In the bedroom. The bathroom outlet was touch and go if you held it. I would definitely stay there again though. I'll just make sure my phone is fully charged before I go to bed.

For the price, this hotel was great for us. Rooms are definitely filled with vintage decor but I have an affinity for all things vintage so that was not a problem. We stayed for two nights and everyone at the front desk was very kind and helpful. I definitely recommend this hotel if you're looking for a nice, clean place to stay for a budget price.

Overpriced for what it is but hey, it serves it's purpose. Front desk lady was very friendly and was able to answer any questions i had. Great location. I read the reviews before I booked my room and I'm not too picky so I'm not gonna complain about the room. Every vacation destination vicinity needs a place like this for when you need a room when all the other places are booked or overpriced to take advantage of people who are displaced due to hurricanes. I would stay here again.

The staff made us feel really welcome and took care of all our needs. The owner was a sweet lady and her son helped his mama out with any of the guests and gave us great advice on spots to go. The locatin was amazing!. There is a little lake to walk around and watch the sun set and it's only about a 15 min walk through beautiful old historic houses and neighborhoods to get to the sponge docks to wander the shops, try awesome greek and seafood restaurants, and even take dolphin boat tours. My husband and dad also had the same opinion about the staff they were the best part, very accommodating and welcoming
